Clinet’s internal "My Station" app was outdated, cluttered, and lacked user-friendly UX. Station owners struggled to track critical operations from fuel stock levels (petrol, diesel, etc.) to real-time delivery updates, handyman checklists, daily sales, and compliance. The existing interface failed to support operational efficiency or offer real-time visibility into tankage and inventory.
Revamp the app to be visually modern, intuitive, and aligned with business needs enabling quick access to operational data, smoother workflows, and better real-time tracking.
What I Did
I led the end-to-end UX revamp by redesigning the interface to follow clean visual principles and simplifying complex workflows into intuitive user journeys. I restructured the app’s layout to enhance clarity, applied UX best practices to improve information hierarchy, and reduced the cognitive load by minimizing unnecessary data points.
The Impact
The redesigned app significantly improved usability and findability, allowing station owners to access key operational data without friction. Task completion time for inventory tracking and delivery monitoring was reduced. With better structure and real-time visibility, adoption of the app among station managers increased, and reliance on external support dropped.
Key Design Highlight
One of the key decisions was to redesign the inventory module using a clean, card-based layout that displays stock levels and delivery status in real-time, making it easier for users to scan, prioritize, and take action.
